I think he did not handle and has not handled syria very well at all. Numerous mistakes there. I do think he understands now that he has to a much tougher position on the islamic state because it is a threat to the united states and to the region. The problem is that the american people do not see a narrative, they do not see strategy, they see a lot of reaction. I think by bombing i.s.i.s., that was a good thing, and he has to keep it up.
